BWPG's Educational App -- 12 LINE WONDER recently won its first client, partnering with the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) for a Fall 2021 launch.
Described by Alan Katz in DC Theater Scene as "the technological game changer for theater in the 21st century," 12 LINE WONDER takes its users into the inner workings of the playwrights' world through intricately mastered 12-line scenes that appear on the student's phone or mobile device.
The classes incorporating 12 LINE WONDER at UDC will be led by Dr. Dorothy Phaire and Dr. Christian Aguiar for the Foundations in Writing and Creative Writing courses. The themes that the scenes will explore include social issues such as poverty, LGBTQ, immigrant experiences, and the Black Lives Matter movement. The app has been integrated into Blackboard™, one of the largest LMS (learning management systems) in the country.
